Our alpacas, Dillon, Ian and Benson were wonderful and our 8 year old son had a brilliant time.
We had a leisurely walk for over an hour, followed by feeding the alpacas and goats. It was helpful to have a walking pole with me. On return we fed the alpacas and although they were keen for the food they weren't overbearing and my grandson found it easy to feed them all in turn. Great experience getting to know Alpacas in a beautiful rural setting My 8 year old and I enjoyed every minute. Took my 10 year old grandson as a birthday treat and he thoroughly enjoyed the morning. The walk was over farmland at an easy pace - the alpacas like to stop every now and again for a graze or a roll in the grass - and although I have some breathing difficulties there was only one hilly part which I found slightly challenging.
