The trail starts by going over a footbridge crossing the Saco River, and passes fairly closely to a few houses before entering the woods. felt like a 4000 footer at times. Lots of stairs and a pretty steady climb. Heart pumping at a good pace. (Paused the watch to have a crisper) Don’t think twice, just do this hike.
I asked several hikers on the way up if we were on track. Would recommend bug spray as well.
