As seen in my picture my current hygrometer is showing 65% and the switchbot version is off by -2%. I even purchased the smart hub that works with it to control my infrared controlled AC. After a couple times sitting in the dark irritated, I charge the device’s name to boob tube.
In no time at all it was dead because in blue tooth mode it burns through batteries every couple weeks. Control with an app, Alexa, Google Assistant, IFTTT or more. So far product is great. Perhaps i will update this when I complete my mission or give up as not being possible. Took a moment to figure out setup to get it to work with GE smart switch, but works great with IFTTT, SwitchBot and SmartThings to control my GE smart switch.

First of all, the product description is misleading. I got this in conjunction with the hub plus and switchbot so I could turn on a space heater in my basement. I wish I had known this prior to buying.
And it shows me when the room temp gets close to the 'trigger' temp, but I have not completed the integration through FTTT or some other method. This was used outside under a plastic cover. You can also pair the hub plus with controlling something like an AC with the IR it has and use this thermometer to control it. There are few details in this product's description, but after you get it, you find that in order for it to work with the app OUTSIDE your home, you need to purchase a hub. In the morning, when I say, "Hey Google, Good Morning" it will tell me the outside temperature and humidity on the patio which seems accurate when compared with the local weather.Nice device, but minor app issues with data history. Works as advertized.
